Damian Facciolo is Regional Program Manager for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), supporting countries to develop national plans and increase resources for eye health across the Western Pacific. Damian trained as a journalist, has a Master ofDevelopment Studies and has worked in Thailand, Vietnam and Australia on health, environment and child protection policy. Damian is chair of Diaspora Action Australia and is a fellow of the Asialink Leaders Program and the Australia-ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program.
