Job Description

Take this fantastic opportunity to use your bookkeeping skills to work closely with the Operations Manager and the Chief Executive Officer of the peak body for eye health and vision care sector, ensuring the integrity of the financial data and reporting activities, maintaining the accounting system and implementing budget planning and monitoring processes.

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader and possess:

  • A minimum Certificate 4 or equivalent in bookkeeping
  • Minimum of five years work experience in bookkeeping
  • Experience and knowledge in the use of Xero.
  • BAS expertise
  • Payroll experience
  • Ability to manage end-to-end creditors and debtors
  • Confidence to liaise with all levels of professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Facilitation of meetings including preparation and distribution of Minutes 
  • Invoice Management
  • Management reporting 
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise completing deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
