NSW seniors eye savings

MEDIA RELEASE

NSW Minister for Ageing John Ajaka has announced an exclusive offer with OPSM that will allow NSW Seniors Card Holders to take advantage of additional discounts on health services.

Mr Ajaka said that the offer with OPSM of 20 per cent off frames and 20 per cent off lenses is available to all Seniors Card holders across NSW for six weeks from Friday 28 August to 7 October 2015.

“I am delighted to announce this additional discount being offered by OPSM to NSW Seniors Card Holders because I am committed to delivering the NSW Government’s election commitment to ease cost of living pressures for our seniors,” said Mr Ajaka.

Mr Ajaka was joined by Seniors Card holder David Collyer of Lindfield who said that the OPSM offer is another benefit of being a NSW Seniors Card holder.

“This is a great offer – every little bit helps,” said Mr Collyer.

The NSW Government is committed to supporting seniors and helping them save money on products and services that help them to maintain a good quality of life.

This announcement is part of the NSW Government’s $2 million election commitment to expand the number of businesses offering discounts with the Seniors Card program.

There are more than 1.4 million people with a NSW Seniors Card, with more than 4,000 outlets offering savings on a wide range of products and services to Seniors Card holders.

OPSM is a leading eye care and eyewear retailer with more than 100 outlets across NSW.
