This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional to work with a national peak body committed to preventingavoidable blindness and improve vision care in Australia.
A part time role (0.6 FTE) with the potential to work flexibly, it offers a diverse range of work and the chance to work with a small, enthusiastic and skilled team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy and delivery of communications for the organisation, building strong relationships with member organisations around communications and supporting key policy, advocacy and project activities.
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrated experience in the development and execution of communication strategies, programs and activities.
Sound knowledge of media and communication channels and demonstrated capacity to leverage these to drive awareness of issues and build profile.
