The 'I See for Culture' eye health education resources were developed by the International Centre for Eyecare Education (ICEE), via funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing through an Eye Health Demonstration Grant.
The project was instigated by Vision 2020 Australia, and the resources were developed via extensive consultation with Indigenous health bodies, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and eye care related organisations.
Certain parts of the kit are available for download with a complete kit containing the following components:
- Flip charts x 2
- Posters x 2
- Model eye
- Simulator masks (cataract and diabetic retinopathy)
- an information booklet.
