Ministers of Health from Pacific Island Nations will meet in Madang, PNG, from 7-11 July.
Supported by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, the meeting will focus on three main pillars – Communicable Diseases, Non-Communicable Diseases and Human Resource Development.
To prepare for this meeting, the South Pacific Community (SPC) is preparing a ‘framework for health priorities in the Pacific’, a draft of which Vision 2020 Australia will secure when it is publicly available.
Vision 2020 Australia would welcome suggestions from members regarding any advocacy opportunities they feel should be pursued at this forum.
