Chief Executive Officer
Judith Abbott brings extensive experience in policy, strategy, service design and advocacy to the Vision 2020 Australia team. With an undergraduate degree in optometry, she worked in a range of clinical and management roles in eye care before entering the Victorian public service where she worked in a diverse range of areas including health workforce and regulation, aged care, mental health, drugs, preventive health and primary and community health. She worked in senior executive roles in government for over 10 years, and holds masters degrees in public administration and policy and management.

Danielle Williams

Policy and Advocacy Manager
Danielle has over 15 years’ experience in regulatory policy programs in health and community services, working with vulnerable communities, Governments and industry peak bodies. During her time working in the Victorian State Government Danielle participated in interjurisdictional policy committees across Australia and New Zealand. She holds a Master of Social Sciences (Policy and Human Services) and a Bachelor of Arts. Danielle joined Vision 2020 Australia in 2017 to lead the Policy and Advocacy team and is eager to contribute her leadership, policy and advocacy skills in partnership with members and Government.



Che' Stockley headshotChé Stockley

Policy and Advocacy Adviser
Ché is a legally trained policy specialist with 20 years’ experience in the court, government and the peak and community sectors.  Ché’s work has focussed on social justice issues, discrimination, violence prevention and family and women’s policy. Ché brings to Vision 2020 Australia strong experience in submission and report writing for government inquiries, royal commissions and Senate inquiries. Ché has also presented at conferences, published research and journal articles on a range of social justice issues. Ché holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, and Graduate Diplomas in Legal Practice and Women’s Studies.

Policy and Advocacy Coordinator
Originally an intern at Vision 2020 Australia, Jacob conducted research into the Sustainable Development Goals and their alignment to the eye health and vision care sector. In 2018 Jacob was employed full-time as Policy and Advocacy Coordinator. Jacob holds a Bachelor of International Relations from La Trobe University and looks forward to applying these skills to assist the policy and advocacy work of Vision 2020 Australia.


Sarah ZerbibSarah Zerbib

Vision Initiative Team Leader
Sarah has 13 years experience working in the eye health and not-for-profit sectors in the UK and Australia. She joined the Vision Initiative team in 2012 after working for an eye health charity in the UK for seven years in varied roles including development, public awareness and marketing.

Vision Initiative Health Promotion Officer
Bhavna’s professional interests revolve around health promotion and disease prevention programs. She has over eight years experience promoting health and wellbeing from a nutritional perspective in a wide variety of clinical, community and corporate settings. She worked for a multinational health care company for four years. Bhavna has a Master of Science (Food & Nutrition) from India, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne.


Nicolette TorcelloNicolette New Headshot

Vision Initiative Health Promotion Officer
Nicolette has extensive experience in health promotion having worked in the prevention and early detection of women’s cancer with recent experience in the eye health sector. She has post graduate qualifications in health promotion from Deakin University and enjoys working with culturally diverse communities particularly in rural areas. She has worked passionately in health promotion and looks forward to making a difference at Vision 2020 Australia.

Georgia Taylor

Vision Initiative Program Support Officer
Georgia joined the Vision Initiative team in 2018 and provides general administrative and logistical support to the team. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and is currently completing her Master of Health Administration at La Trobe University. Throughout her studies Georgia has developed a strong interest in the areas of Integrated Health Promotion and Program Development and Evaluation and is looking forward to applying these skills to provide continued support to the organisation.

Office and Governance Manager
Since 2010, Jess has worked in the eye health and vision care sector, recently returning to Vision 2020 Australia as Office and Governance Manager. Jess provides support services to management; manages the organisation’s human resources, Board and governance requirements. Her main focus is on improving Vision 2020 Australia’s core business processes and ensuring the organisation meets its Strategic Plan objectives.

Amy Johnston Amy Johnston

Communications and Administration Coordinator
Amy joined Vision 2020 Australia in 2018, after gaining experience in the not-for-profit sector and educational publishing industry. With a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communication) from Deakin University, Amy is responsible for the organisation’s social media and communication materials. Amy also provides administrative and operational support for the organisation.


Dina Gregg Dina Gregg headshot

Project Officer
Dina joined Vision 2020 Australia in 2017 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Business/Laws at Swinburne University. Dina has undertaken studies in Health and Human Developed where she focused the Sustainable Development Goals, sparking an interest in the health sector.  Dina looks forward to providing continued support to the Organisation.


Trevor OlsenTrevor Olsen

Senior Bookkeeper 
Trevor has over 20 years' experience in the not for profit sector. Prior to this he  worked in the public sector as a bank manager. He has extensive knowledge of member based and charitable organistions. Trevor provides financial support to the Vision 2020 Australia Executive team and CEO.



Ben Jessup headshot

 Ben Jessup

Communications Manager
Ben has more than a decade of diverse communications experience across the private, public, not for profit and political sectors – highlighted by roles as Public Relations Manager at animal hospital Lort Smith, and media officer and speechwriter with the Australian Council of Trade Unions. He has also worked on some of Australia’s most visible charity events, including the 40 Hour Famine and Vision Australia’s Carols By Candlelight. Ben holds a Master of Arts in Communication, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
